What a lovely lady; I have known Mrs Anderson my whole life and she was like a second mum to me. Especially when she had to pull a bee sting out of my bottom when I accidentally sat on a bee!! That was in Sandhurst Drive, Aintree - I think I was about seven years old (1965). And I'll never forget the look on her face as I was trying to get back into the house in Aughton after one of the infamous Glenn Hall dances at Ormskirk Hospital. I had climbed on to the roof of the garage to knock on Robert's window, so that he could let me in. A face appeared at the window and I shouted a few expletives to let me in, not realising that it was Mrs Anderson at the window. She either did not properly hear me or chose to ignore it, but she did let me in the house so I could go to bed. RIP Mrs Anderson, we will miss you.
